Creamy Salsa Dressing

Our creamy salsa dressing is so easy to make at home with jalapenos and fresh lime juice. This tastes amazing poured over your summer salads, and can be used on tacos, burrito bowls and as a dip for your chicken wraps and veggies.

Ingredients
 

  • ½ cup Duke's mayo
  • ¾ cup medium salsa Frontera Jalapeño Cilantro Salsa (Medium)
  • cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1 jalapeno roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon ancho chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon hot sauce Cholula chili lime
  • 1 tablespoon buttermilk to thin

Instructions

  • Combine all the ingredients in a food processor or high speed blender until the ingredients are well blended and the cilantro is the texture you like.
  • Taste and adjust seasonings, if desired.  Pour the dressing into a pint-sized mason jar with a lid and refrigerate until ready to serve.  The dressing will thicken in the fridge.

Notes

  • Taste the dressing and adjust it to your taste preferences.
  • Chill in the fridge for an hour or two before using.
  • Need lower calories?  Swap the sour cream for Greek yogurt.
