Sour Cream Pound Cake

What You Need

You don't need a lot of ingredients to make a wonderfully moist pound cake!

Prep

1. Butter and flour a 10-cup bundt pan. 2. Cream the butter, sugar, salt, and vanilla for 7-10 minutes.

Sift

3. Sift the flour and baking soda into a medium bowl. 4. Add the eggs one at a time with a little flour to prevent curdling.

Stir

5. Add the sour cream and flour mixture alternately, then stir. 6. Make sure there's no pockets of unincorporated flour.

Bake

9. Spread the batter in the prepared bundt pan. 10. Bake at 350°F for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Cool

9. Let the cake cool for 10 min, then turn out of the pan. 10. Let it cool for 1 hour, then slice and serve.

Serve

This moist pound cake tastes delicious on its own or served with berries and whipped cream.  It won't last long!
