Skillet Cornbread

This moist, slightly sweet cornbread is super easy to make in your cast iron skillet.

Get whisking.

1. Whisk all the dry ingredients together until they're combined. 2. Break up the eggs with the whisk.

Batter up.

3. Add the maple syrup and other wet ingredients to the eggs. 4. Whisk until combined.

Nearly there.

5. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and stir until mixed. 6. Butter a 10-inch skillet and place in a 400°F for 5 min to preheat.

Time to bake.

7. Bake the cornbread in the preheated skillet for 30 minutes. 8. Let it cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.

Serve with hearty soup or simply enjoy with butter and honey.
