1. Saute the onion and carrot, then add the garlic and cook for 1 minute. 2. Add the spices and cook for 1 minute.
3. Deglaze with the broth, then add the remaining ingredients. 4. Pour in the rest of the broth.
5. Simmer for 45 minutes to cook the vegetables, then add the greens and let them wilt. 6. Remove from the heat and add the lemon juice and cilantro.
7. Adjust seasonings to taste. 8. Ladle into bowls and serve the stew while it's hot.
