Mince & Tatties Recipe

What You Need

You don't need a lot of fancy ingredients to make this tasty Scottish dinner recipe!

Brown the Meat

1. Brown the minced beef in oil until it's cooked. 2. Drain it well in a colander to remove excess grease.

Saute

3. Saute the onion and carrot, then add the garlic. 4. Add the tomato paste and cook for 2 minutes.

Pour

5. Add the flour and cook for 2 minutes. 6. Pour in a little broth and scrape the brown bits off the pan, then add the rest.

Stir

7. Add the Worcestershire sauce and mix. 8. Add the minced beef and add more broth if desired.

Almost Done!

9. Simmer for 15 minutes, then taste and add salt. 10. Serve with tatties (mashed potatoes) and peas.
