2. Add the buttermilk and stir to make a slightly sticky dough.

3. Gently knead a couple times, then shape into a round loaf.
4. Score with a deep cross, cutting almost through the loaf.

5. Bake at 450°F for 15 minutes on a preheated baking stone, then bake at 400°F for 15 min.
6. Let cool completely.
