Southern Green Beans & Potatoes

What You Need

You don't need a lot of ingredients to make a tasty dish of green beans and potatoes!

Sauté

1. Cook the bacon until crispy. 2. Sauté the onions until golden, then add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Simmer

3. Add the green beans and pour in the chicken broth. 4. Simmer covered for 30 minutes.

Season

5. Add the potatoes. 6. Add the seasonings and simmer until the potatoes are fork tender, about 20 min.

Garnish

9. Drain and stir in most of the cooked and crumbled bacon. 10. Place in a serving bowl and garnish with remaining bacon.
