WHAT YOU NEED

You only need a handful of simple ingredients for these meat pies!

MIX.

1. Mix the ground beef with onion, butter, salt, and pepper. 2. Cut each sheet of puff pastry in half.

Trim.

3. Trim off the corners of each piece of pastry to give them an oval shape. 4. Divide the filling among the pastries.

CRIMP.

5. Brush half of the rim with beaten egg. 6. Fold over the pastry and crimp with a fork. Brush with egg and cut two vent holes in the top.

BAKE.

7. Bake at 400°F for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is brown and the filling has an internal temperature of 160°F. 8. Let cool for 15 minutes.

ENJOY!

Serve the Forfar bridies with Heinz beans, chips, and lots of HP sauce.  Enjoy!
