Chicken & Sausage Jambalaya

What You Need

Grab these ingredients, and you'll be ready to whip up a tasty batch of jambalaya for dinner!

Brown Meat

1. Brown the chicken for 5 minutes. 2. Brown the sausage for 3-5 minutes, then remove.

Sauté

3. Cook the trinity (onion, pepper, and celery) until softened and golden. 4. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant.

Toast the Rice

5. Pour the rice into the pan. 6. Stir constantly for 5-6 minutes, then add the spices and cook 30-60 seconds.

Simmer

7. Add the tomatoes and chicken broth. 8. Add the meat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring every 5 min.

Rest

9. Take off the heat and rest covered for 10-20 minutes, then remove the bay leaves. 10. Garnish with green onion and serve hot.
