CHICKEN & LEEK PIE

What You Need

Grab these ingredients, and you'll be ready to bake this pie!

1. Brown the meat in a skillet until it reaches 165°F in the thickest part. 2. Saute the leeks and garlic.

3. Melt the butter in the skillet, then add the flour and whisk for 2-3 minutes. 4. Add the white wine and milk, whisking until thickened.

5. Add the veggies and spices and cook for 2-3 minutes. 6. Chop the cooked chicken and stir most of it into the sauce.

7. Cover the filling with pastry, brush with egg, and bake at 400°F for 35-40 minutes. 8. Let it cool for 15 minutes, then slice and serve.
