Grandma's Bread Stuffing

What You Need

You only need a few simple ingredients with some spices to whip up this family favorite stuffing!

Toast

1. Tear the bread into small pieces and dry it out in a 400°F oven. 2. Cook the mushrooms in butter until they are soft and brown.

Saute

3. Saute the onion and celery, then add the garlic and saute. 4. Add the spices and cook for 1 minute to bloom them.

Deglaze

5. Pour some chicken broth into the pan and scrape the bottom to release the fond. 6. Add this liquid to the bread.

Toss & Bake

7. Mix all the ingredients together, adding broth to moisten the bread. 8. Cover & bake at 400°F for 30 min, then uncover and bake for 20 min.
