Description

A Shirley Temple is a fun non alcoholic drink that’s made with ginger ale, grenadine, and orange juice.  It’s easy to whip up in just a few minutes.  This classic treat for kids will be popular at a party or all summer long!

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ginger ale (240 ml)
  • 1/3 cup orange juice (80 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon grenadine (15 ml)
  • 4 ice cubes
  • Maraschino cherries, for garnish
  • Orange slices, for garnish

Instructions

Making an Individual Glass

  1. Place about 4 ice cubes in a 12-ounce highball glass and pour in the ginger ale.  (The drink makes about 10 ounces of liquid, but you need a 12-ounce glass to make room for the ice cubes.)
